Emergency glass repair in Washington, DC
Broken glass can't wait for morning. Call any time, day or night, and tell us what happened and where you are.
Until we get there
- Keep everyone back. Move people and pets away from the opening and any loose glass.
- Leave the pieces in the frame. Pulling out broken glass by hand is an easy way to get cut.
- Take a few photos. Note the rough size too. It speeds up the quote and helps with an insurance claim.

Call (202) 322-0820Can you come tonight or over the weekend?
Emergency calls are answered 24/7, including nights, weekends and holidays. Call (202) 322-0820, tell us what broke and where you are, and we'll tell you how soon we can be there.
Will the glass be replaced the same day?
It depends on the glass. Standard glass can sometimes be cut and installed right away. Tempered, laminated and insulated units are made to order, so they take longer. We make the area safe first and tell you the timeline for the new glass.
Does insurance cover broken glass?
Many home and business policies cover broken glass, but every policy is different, so check yours. Photos of the damage and the invoice for the repair help with a claim.
Should I clean up the broken glass myself?
Keep people and pets away and leave the pieces that are still in the frame. If loose glass is on the floor where people walk, sweep it up carefully with shoes and gloves on. We clear the rest when we arrive.
